Reporting to the Senior Director of Development & Marketingthis position plays a key role on a dynamic team focused onadvancing the cutting-edge research in the field of nuclearmedicine and molecular imaging at SNMMI.

SNMMI is an international scientific and medical organizationdedicated to advancing nuclear medicine and molecularimaging precision medicine that allows diagnosis and treatment tobe tailored to individual patients in order to achieve the bestpossible outcomes.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for organizing all aspectsof the SNMMI s Major Gift Campaign Fund infrastructure to includeBoard Meetings as well as identifying, cultivating, and stewardingmajor donors who are passionate about pushing the boundaries ofmedical innovation. Your efforts will directly impact the progressof our groundbreaking research projects and contribute totransforming the landscape of healthcare through nuclear medicineand molecular imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Major Gift Campaign for Medical Research:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuringalignment with the Fund objectives.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to maximize efficiency andcollaboration.

Monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables,adjusting as necessary to ensure success.

Provide regular updates to stakeholders, fostering transparencyand engagement.

Fundraising: Fundraise for the Fund s$100million fundraising effort to include organizing Board meetings,cultivation events, donor stewardship and all donor and prospectrelated efforts. The fundraising responsibilities are listedbelow.

Donor Identification andResearch: Identify potential major gift donors whohave a strong affinity for medical research, nuclear medicine, andmolecular imaging. Utilize various research tools and techniques toassess their capacity and inclination to contributesignificantly.

Cultivation and Engagement: Develop andexecute personalized cultivation strategies for major giftprospects. Establish and maintain meaningful relationships throughmeetings, events, presentations, and regular communication, aimedat deepening their understanding and connection to our researchmission.

Proposal Development: Collaborate with theresearch and communications teams to create compelling, customizedproposals that clearly articulate the impact of major gifts onadvancing nuclear medicine and molecular imaging research. Tailorproposals to align with the donor's philanthropic interests andgoals.

Stewardship: Ensure a high level ofstewardship for major donors, demonstrating appreciation andrecognition for their contributions. Provide regular updates onresearch progress, outcomes, and the transformative impact of theirsupport.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field suchas philanthropy, nonprofit management, or communications.

At least 2- 3 years fundraising experience and managingprojects

Proven track record of successfully raising transformationalmajor gifts, ideally within a medical research or healthcarecontext.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build andmaintain strong relationships with donors, colleagues, andstakeholders.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, includingthe ability to create compelling proposals and donor-centriccommunications.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with theability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Proficiency in creating donor management systems

Understanding of nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, ormedical research concepts is a plus.
