**Job Summary** The Heavy Construction Equipment Utility Laborer - Parts Runner will assist with various task assignments throughout the Grand Prairie, TX equipment yard, including picking up parts and washing equipment. This position pays $16.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
**Essential Functions**
* Picking up parts from various vendors across the DFW area
* Wash equipment
* Perform general maintenance
* Load and unload construction materials
* May operate hand and power tools of all types and a variety of other equipment and instruments
* May clean and prepare sites
* May assist other craft workers
* Lift, carry, or pull items up to 50 pounds
* Follow all required safety rules, policies, and guidelines

**Required Skills & Experience**
* 2+ years roadway construction experience
* General construction labor skills
* Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of various types
* Experience operating other types of equipment and instruments is a plus
* Physical ability to perform assigned tasks (lift, push and pull 50+ pounds)
* Must meet MVR requirements and qualify as a driver
