Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Arrive each day, Monday - Friday, to the shop at 4:30 a.m. unless noted otherwise.
  • Daily Vaccination check-up with identified team.
    • Check-in on vaccination team(s)
    • Quality control.
    • Vaccine temperature
    • Proper bird handling (animal welfare protocols)
    • Biosecurity protocols
  • Ensure Top level vaccination performance of each team.
  • Team vaccination audits
  • Proper training procedures
  • Help enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Manage the Sorting process.
  • Facilitate sample collection and initial scale set-up
  • Regularly monitor the numbers and make necessary adjustments throughout the process.
  • Collect final numbers and ensure birds are in the correct location.
  • Continue to develop and encourage a Safe work culture and environment.
  • Identify and execute Process Improvement projects.
  • Fill in for a Team Supervisor on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in Managing proper vaccine inventory.
  • Ensure supervisors have all necessary equipment for their daily jobs.
  • Continue developing a scalable model for Future Growth.

A recent addition to Duck s Poultry Services Inc. is Duck s Poultry Transport LLC. a subsidiary company providing turnkey solutions to our customers pullet transportation needs. The services that we provide to our customers include loading, transporting, and unloading live poultry at breeder farms. Picking up eggs from breeder farms and delivering them back to hatchery.
