Duties and responsibilities: - Drive production operations to meet or exceed company goals in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Identify and communicate any continuous improvement opportunities and assist or lead continuous improvement actions.
- Drive production of customer orders to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Identify and develop internal personnel to support continued growth.
- Schedule resources, equipment, and workflow that drives the efficient use of shipping resources and achieves target on time delivery.
- Manage raw material resources and vendor relationships as applicable.
- Assist in costing efforts by compiling production reports, completing time studies and provide recommendations as necessary.
- Oversee prompt follow up on all customer quality concerns and ensure operational corrective action(s) to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all safety incidences or concerns are promptly reported to the safety department.
- Oversee maintenance resources, including parts and outside contractors, to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment.
- Operate efficiently with a commitment to continuous improvement regarding all areas of responsibility: work force, training, housekeeping, etc.
