**Essential Responsibilities:**
* Remove trash and waste from facility
* Sweep, Mop, wax and clean plant as assigned.
* Operate a floor scrubber
* Clean outside drains
* Maintain cleaning supplies in janitor storage.
* Move material as needed.
* Maintain recycle bins.
* Drive fork lift to load cardboard bales.
**Qualifications/ Requirements:**
* High School diploma/ GED
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively, occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds non-repetitively and on rare occasions over 50 pounds with assistance.
* Must conform to all EHS guidelines, including, but not limited to, wearing required PPE
* Ability to work in an area where there is moderate noise intensity (85 to 89.9 dBa).
* Ability to work in an area where, due to normal machining operations there may be dust, fumes, or smoke (not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels (PEL)).
**Desired Characteristics:**
* Previous janitorial experience
* History of meeting or exceeding job requirements
* Ability to apply principles to solve practical problems; dealing with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Makes decisions based on experience and available data
* Ability to read and understand safety rules in the use and maintenance of shop equipment as well as related technical material and apply principles to daily operations.
* Commitment to excellent safety habits
* Excellent attendance and punctuality history
* Positive attitude and ambition to excel / advance in skills and knowledge
* History of accepting and giving constructive criticism
