Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and general liability matters, including but not limited to premises liability, personal injury, property damage, and construction defect cases.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
- Develop case strategies, including conducting depositions, witness interviews, and legal analysis.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members to provide updates on case status and developments.
- Represent clients in mediation, settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 2+ years of experience practicing insurance defense and/or general liability law, preferably with experience in a law firm setting.
