Our Boston based beauty brand is looking for a Packaging Designer with 5+ years' experience, specifically in packaging development and design; looking for multiple campaigns where you have created packaging concepts/ideas from scratch. You'll establish design codes and work off some existing ideas for the product/packaging in addition to providing input for long term packaging improvments. Previous experience in skincare or the beauty industry required
- Ability to take a package design from concept to production using factory die lines.
- Create final mechanicals for production
- Check dielines and create electronic files for print.
- Create and produce first in series artwork
- Designing and developing new packaging concepts and nets for production
- Conducting image searches for packaging
- Experience artworking and creating finished art for print and publication
About you:
- Experience with design software and graphics editing tools such as the Adobe Suite with a strong emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop
- Previous experience working on a packaging campaign from scratch
- A keen eye for detail
- A strong aptitude for creativity and problem-solving
- Experience artworking and creating finished art for print and publication
- Conceptualize and execute packaging concepts
- Experience in the skincare or beauty industry
