high growth, entrepreneurial, middle market companies.Job Description:Our Equity Capital Markets team is actively looking for a 2nd or 3rd Year Analyst for our New York office. Our ECM team will provide Analysts with a high level of responsibility and extensive access to senior management and clients. The ECM transaction teams are typically small in size, providing Analysts with significant responsibilities and opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills early in their career .Responsibilities:Prepare complex financial analysis on companies looking to execute an equity capital raisePrepare client pitch materials evaluating the most beneficial structure for an equity capital raiseEvaluate current and historical market data to support recommendations to clientsSupport the preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companiesResearch and maintain databases of key healthcare investorsManage the execution of equity offerings and communicate with the clients Management teamParticipate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm.Qualifications:Must have 1+ years of full-time work experience, current students are not eligibleSales driven mentality with a strong capital markets acumenStrong verbal and written communication skillsElevated attention to detail and consistency in work productStrong work ethic and team playersSPAC experience preferredDealogic, Ipreo, CapIQ, PlacementTracker, Bloomberg, MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferredSeries 7, 63, 79 licenses required at time of hiring or shortly thereafterCompensation:For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
