Onward Search's award-winning global innovation agency that creates POP display designs for retail environments is in need of a direct hire/staff Retail Store Designer.
- This role will be onsite 5 days a week, Chiciago, IL.
- Annual Comp: $115,000 - $130,000 plus bonus.
- Must have: ArtiosCAD, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet.
- Must have experience using CAD software to engineer solutions and concept rendering.
As a Designer, you will:
- Develop design, engineer, test, and execute temporary POP display project requests (PRs) from concept to production hand-off.
- Use CAD software to engineer solutions specified by PR and Concept Renderings.
- Test designed components for strength, durability and safety before finalizing prototypes.
- Develop prototype samples and production artwork and work with Production to finalize die-work.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Bachelor s or Advanced Degree.
- 5 + years experience in Temporary Point of Purcahse Design.
- Must have: ArtiosCAD, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet.
- Must have experience using CAD software to engineer solutions and concept rendering.
- Experience with joinery techniques, including mechanical joints (tabs, slots, locks, etc.), and finished joints (twin stick, glue, stitches, etc.)
