**Description**

**JOB PURPOSE:**

Maintain the inventory for Midcos Field Operations group including the control and appropriate requisition, and distribution of equipment.

**Position leveling will be assigned congruent to experience and training.**

Requirements

I

High school diploma or GED required. Some college or vocational training preferred.

One to three years of inventory experience preferred.

Knowledge of and experience with Great Plains software preferred.

II

One to two years of inventory or warehouse experience required. Three to five years of inventory or warehouse experience preferred.

Proficient with inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Great Plains software preferred.

Ability to work independently and be resourceful, while exercising sound judgment on when to include the broader team.

III

Minimum five years inventory or warehouse experience required.

Proficient with inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Great Plains software preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and be able to perform at a high level in a time sensitive environment.

Ability to perform detailed work in an accurate and organized manner.

Ability to train others.

**KEY FUNCTIONS:**

* Maintain, control, and organize Midcontinents Field Operations inventory.

* Accurately distribute equipment to the appropriate personnel.

* Perform and maintain records of inventory cycle counts.

* Initiate timely and accurate requisition orders to replenish the inventory.

* Drive and maintain forklifts safely and responsibly.

* Accurately record all inventory shipping and receiving activity and documentation.

* Safely unload incoming shipments, and prepare and load outgoing shipments.

* Accurately key all inventory data with a high level of accuracy.

* Pre-provision and package equipment.

* Be willing and able to travel in accordance with Midcontinents Use of Vehicle for Company Business policy.

* Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.

* Adhere to Midcos privacy guidelines to ensure each customers privacy.

* Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

* Mentor new hires as required.

* Provide clerical and administrative support as necessary.

* Successfully complete ongoing training as necessary.

* Accurately diagnosis and solve issues in an effective manner in accordance with supply chain policy.

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:**

* High school diploma or GED required. Some college or vocational training preferred.

* One to three years of inventory experience preferred.

* Knowledge of and experience with Great Plains software preferred.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

* The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

* The employee may occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs. When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, it is required for two or more people to lift the load.

* The employee will be required to stand or walk for a majority of their scheduled shift.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock, vibration, paint, and various cleaning chemicals.

* The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

* Employees may be required to work more than 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
